What is a Family Physician?

A family physician is a doctor who takes care of your whole family. Family physicians create caring relationships with patients and their families. They really get know their patients. They listen to them and help them make the right health care decisions.

What if I need to see the doctor right away?

We try to accomodate same day appointments in emergent situations. Please contact the office at 774-470-1370 and speak with the receptionist. We also have Saturday hours and up to 8:00pm on monday through friday for your convenience. If it is a  life-threatening emergency, please go to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room for treatment.

What information do I need to bring to my appointment?

If you are a new patient, you will need to fill out the forms for registration and health assessment form. you can take these forms home and bring it on your day of visit. this will save you time in the office. You should also bring your insurance card, driver’s license or a picture ID.

What do I do if I need to change or cancel an appointment?

Please call the office in advance, when possible. If you do not contact us regarding a cancellation, we do charge a cancellation fee.

What if I don’t have insurance?

Please be aware that you will be required to pay for your office visit at time of service.

What about information on the internet? Is that helpful to discuss with my doctor?

Any health concerns that you have should be discussed with your doctor , they will be able to let you know if the information you’ve found is appropriate for your own medical health.
